Zahran Palace
Zaharan Palace sometime in the fifties. Amazing to look at this picture and see how isolated the building was at that time. In the sixties it was brave to build beyond the fourth circle and the King Hussein Medical Centre was in the middle of nowhere! T
I have a photograpgh taken in 1923which shows Raghdan Palace and the former British High Commisioner's residence, now Prince Hassan's home, taken from Sagf-al-Sayl. No vegetation on the hill at all, just the two buildings. However, Sagf-alSayl is very green.

The old villa is still there, although it has been remodeled and added on to. I used to live directly across the street from it.
