Would you choose these colours?
This is a house being built near Sweileh and I just wondered who could possibly be brave enough to paint their home in red and yellow. To me it looks absolutely hideous but I suppose to the owners it looks beautiful. T
Are you making fun of my parents and their color choices? We decided to add some colour to the drab grey that permiates Amman. And we got a good deal on the paint!
These are respectable "Mediterranean" colors used in combination with others (almond green, Med blue, lavendar-gray) throughout the region. Yes, Amman has a beautiful cut stone-faced identity but I am glad to see a bit of character and creative spirit expressed through color on the drab concrete walls now and then. Um Dunya
Yes Um Dunya, I love 'Mediterranean' colours and it is nice to see colour around but this building did not 'click' with me. I think it is the mustard yellow!
