fourth circle

Oh no! Not more fountains! Having been away for three weeks I have been missing the fun at the fourth circle. It looks like fountains are being fitted. Why??? Don't we have enough trouble with the ones that are already done? Leaks, dirt and rubbish and not working half the time. And in a country that is seriously water deficient.

Whilst driving through the tunnel towards to the third circle I noticed the run off which goes to our new wonderful suspension bridge (!). It looks incredibly dangerous to me with a narrow entrance and a sharp curve for drivers to contend with. And a slip road goes past the front door of one of the houses.

Hopefully I am wrong and it will all work like a dream!? T

i'm not a fan of the fountains either, simply because they imply we have water, which we dont. however to be fair it is the same water that is just constantly being reused and they dont turn them on unless someone important is visiting the country so probably less than one month. and in a region where the typical centerpiece is usually a statue of a leader, fountains are a better alternative.

in my opinion, i would rather see something cool like the 7th circle statue, but of course better. something that artistically defines every circle so people can use them as landmarks and say "yeah the 4th circle, the one with the..."

If they did nice creative fountains that add something to their surrounding area it would be ok but not these ones that look like they were just picked up off one of these stoneworks at the edge of highways.

The 7th circle statue is hideously ugly i find, it looks like a bunch of dead people trying to climb up a packet of cigarettes (which if it was would be usefull as an anti-smoking symbol but i doubt that was the intention). However I like the something that defines each circle idea, like a sculpture that plays with/represents the number of the circle.

Or maybe, sicne sand is in greater abundance, we could have a sand fountain? Get the multi-colored sand from Petra and do a big hourglass that flips. Now THAT woudl be worth seeing!
