I know this place...it's a bunch of rocks and dirt, just like 90% of southern Jordan.

You took the picture from a small rest stop on a steep road! :)
We passed by this view while going to Wadi ibn Hammaad. The picture is of the shallow end of a water reservoir.. somewhere before Kerak.
Am I right? What's this Wadi called?
Hi Dave......obviously you are not a bedouin so I'm not surprised that you see it as just 'a bunch of rocks and dirt'. I have been in the desert with them, where it really looks all the same, and they know exactly where they are........z
